So I was playing TF2 in the night, right?
But I couldn't shake a thought in my mind.
I like the game and the changes that came, and all that,
But I wondered 'bout a time before they introduced hats.
So I was looking online, for something worth my time,
until I came across a project that I had to make mine.
TF2Classic was the name.
No hats in sight, New weapons to try,
New maps and gamemodes and a general vibe.
Everyone is here to do the same
Not to trade or troll, just to play the game
it just felt like it did in the old days,
With some changes to a certain extent
Now let me summarize and rephrase
It simply felt like I went
Back in time.
Play the game like its 2009!
Come online!
The classic is back in its prime.
So was I was playing some TF2 classic,
But I couldnt shake a thought in my mind
It all felt so familiar, down to the bone.
Even consider to say that I felt right at home
I shall describe an impression of mine
that I had while playing for the very first time
Close your eyes and open your mind
The battlefield a paradise,
you see a Scout, you shoot him twice!
A noise behind you, cloak and dagger!
Caught off guard, a cause to stagger.
Knife's a miss, a pointed barrel,
Failed ambush, Spy in peril!
Pull the trigger, deed is done.
The scout is back, still on the run.
Pursuit in action, 'cross the map,
The Boston boy 'gon bust a cap.
And faster than your boy can rap
you point your fully loaded strap.
And in my mind, during all that,
the thought I had inside my head,
that during all this rattattat,
Nobody even wore a hat! >:D
Back in time.
Play the game like its 2009!
Come online!
The classic is back in its prime. x2
